Bij patiënten zonder tanden en kiezen verandert de beet in de loop der tijd en het plaatsen van implantaten, tanden en kiezen vereist speciale vaardigheden en veel ervaring. Een verkeerde planning kan leiden tot onaangename bijwerkingen zoals migraine.
Om de juiste beet te bepalen wordt begonnen met een grondig onderzoek door een specialist. Er worden digitale foto’s gemaakt en visualisatiesoftware gebruikt. Samen met het tandtechnisch laboratorium wordt een apparaat gebruikt dat de individuele bewegingen van de kaak van de patiënt registreert en nabootst – de zogenaamde gezichtsboog en een articulator met specifieke waarden. Dit proces maakt het mogelijk prothetische structuren te vervaardigen met een anatomische vorm die zo dicht mogelijk bij die van natuurlijke tanden ligt en voorkomt het optreden van onjuist contact tussen kunstmatige en natuurlijke tanden (indien aanwezig), wat een van de belangrijkste oorzaken is van het breken van metaalkeramische en volledig keramische structuren. Deze planningsmethode wordt voornamelijk gebruikt bij grote brugconstructies, maar in bepaalde gevallen ook bij de vervaardiging van kronen en uitneembare prothesen. Het maken van een voorlopige wax-up (hars-model) helpt bij het plannen en voorspellen van het esthetische resultaat van de nieuwe constructie.
Het meten van de beet is een belangrijke stap in uitgebreide tandheelkundige restauraties, en het is belangrijk om te vertrouwen op professionals met ervaring.

Hallo Sofia Implantat Center!
Ich war von 18.01. -23.01.2026 für meine Zahnbehandlung dort in Klinik. Ich war von Anfang an überrascht, wie alles dort sehr gut abläuft. Meine positiven Eindrücke waren wie folgt:
• Man bekommt gleich ein paar Schuhüberzieher, dass wegen der Reinigung bzw. keine Fremde-gefährliche Erreger von außen in die Klinik hineinkommt, sehr gut!
• Medizinisch und fachliche Kompetenz war Exzellent!
• Ganz neue zeitgemäße Behandlungsmethode, hier können manche anderen Kliniken z.B. in Deutschland/Frankfurt die Scheibe davon abschneiden, super!
• Freundliche Personal sowohl an der Rezeption, den Zahnberater und in der weiteren Etage der Klinik die Ärzte, Ärzte-Assistent generell alle nett, Sehr gut!
• Transfer-Fahrer für die Abholung und die Rückfahrten war nett, höflich und pünktlich!
• Alles in allem ist diese Klinik sehr zu empfohlenen, lassen Sie sich wie ich angenehm überraschen.
• Es war meinen ersten Besuch in Jan.2026 und ich komme gerne wieder zum zweiten Besuch in Okt.2026.
• Zu guter Letzt sind die Preis-Leistung Verhältnisse ohne kongruent.

I cannot praise Sofia Implant Centre highly enough! From the moment I first made contact, the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic.
Having extensive dental work carried out abroad is a huge decision, and naturally I had my worries and concerns. However, the professionalism, care and attention I received from the entire team made the whole experience so much easier than I ever imagined.
The clinic is modern, spotless and extremely well organised, and the dental team are clearly highly skilled and dedicated to what they do. Throughout my treatment, I felt I was in very capable hands.
A very special thank you must go to Kris, my consultant. Kris has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Always approachable, patient, reassuring and happy to answer my many questions! Having a full-mouth restoration with implants is not something you undertake lightly, but the team at Sofia Implant Centre have made what could have been a very daunting experience into an incredibly positive one.
