Een van de dingen waar u tijdens uw implantaatbehandeling zeker van moet zijn, is het verkrijgen van een implantaatpaspoort. Waarom is het zo belangrijk en waarom geven bijna alle klinieken het niet aan hun patiënten?

Heel vaak bezoeken patiënten onze kliniek met de noodzaak om een corrigerende ingreep uit te voeren bovenop hun bestaande implantaten die in een andere kliniek zijn gemaakt. Helaas is er geen manier om deze patiënten te helpen omdat ze geen paspoort hebben voor hun implantaten en we staan voor een onmogelijke missie om erachter te komen van welk merk ze zijn. Bovendien bevat het implantaatpaspoort andere waardevolle details, zoals bijvoorbeeld de gebruikte schroef bij het plaatsen.
Elk merk implantaat heeft specifieke gereedschap nodig voor het plaatsen en verwijderen. Het komt zeer zelden voor dat de gereedschappen van het ene merk compatibel zijn met die van een ander merk. Om deze reden kunnen niet alleen wij van het Sofia Implant Centre, maar ook andere klinieken u niet helpen.
Zoals u misschien al kunt raden, zult u, nadat u verschillende klinieken hebt bezocht en overal te horen hebt gekregen dat er zonder paspoort voor de implantaten niets aan te doen is, gedwongen zijn terug te keren naar de plaats waar ze zijn geplaatst. En dit is inderdaad precies de reden waarom u dit zeer belangrijke document in de eerste plaats niet hebt ontvangen! Zodat u nergens anders behandeld kunt worden en steeds weer naar dezelfde kliniek terug moet!

I had full upper and lower all on six implant treatment at the Sofia Implant Centre in February 2026, followed by permanent zirconium bridges in August. The results are exceptional — my smile looks fantastic and I can eat normally again. My thanks to Dr Rafid Hussain, the head surgeon, for the outstanding surgical work, and to Dr Ogur Inal, who fitted my zirconium bridges with real precision and care. I also want to give special thanks to Kris George my Consultant, who managed to secure me an appointment at the last minute when the Centre was fully booked. All the staff were friendly, supportive, and highly professional throughout my treatment. I couldn’t be happier with the experience or the final result. Highly recommended.
