One of the things you need to make sure during your implant treatment is getting an implant passport. Why is it so important and why do almost all clinics fail to provide it to their patients?

Quite often patients visit our clinic with the need to make a corrective procedure on top of their existing implants made at another clinic. Unfortunately, there is no way to help these patients because they do not have a passport for their implants and we are faced with an impossible mission to find out what brand they are. Furthermore, the implant passport contains other valuable details like for example the torque used when placed.
Each implant brand needs specific tools for placing and removing. It is very rare that the tools of one brand are compatible with those of another. For this reason, not only we at Sofia Implant Centre, but also any other clinic, would not be able to help you. And this is indeed the very reason why you did not receive this very important document in the first place! So that you cannot be treated in any other place and you will have to return again and again to the same clinic!
Finalmente trovo due minuti per commentare la mia esperienza presso la Sofia Implant Center di Sofia (Bulgaria), dopo il rientro dal mio primo viaggio. Dopo aver contattato qualche mese fa il sig. Ivan, referente della clinica per l’italia e con molta attenzione e cortesia mi ha inviato tutto il programma degli interventi che dovevo subire con allegato il preventivo di spesa. Ho scelto questa clinica fidandomi e leggendo varie recensioni tutte positive. Arrivato a Sofia con mia figlia siamo stati accompagnati subito in clinica per una prima visita, ho soggiornato in tutto cinque giorni e ogni giorno c’era l’autista messo a disposizione della clinica, che ci prendeva e riaccompagnava a casa. Ho subito un intervento di implantologia finalizzato al ripristino della funzionalità masticatoria, devo ringraziare in particolare i dottori: Rafid Hussain e la dottoressa Radina Taskova che con pazienza e accuratezza si sono occupati delle mie cure dentarie e altri dottori, compresi gli assistenti, che si sono susseguiti nelle varie fasi per la loro professionalità e gentilezza verso di me.
