Mensen raken vaak in de war door de hoeveelheid informatie op het internet over complete gebitsrestauraties. Daarom zullen we in deze post de drie belangrijkste stappen aangeven die moeten worden gevolgd voor een succesvolle All-on-4/6-behandeling.
1. Het CBCT onderzoek(of 3D scan)! Dit is de enige procedure die een duidelijk beeld geeft van de juiste positie en grootte van de implantaten. Vraag daarom zeker uw chirurg om advies en commentaar op uw CBCT 3D-scan (details hier).
2. Het gebruik van een tijdelijke vaste prothese.De tijdelijke tandstructuur wordt op dezelfde manier over de implantaten gefixeerd als de uiteindelijk de definitieve tanden en is nodig voor de tijd dat uw tandvlees herstelt van de operatie – in ongeveer 6 maanden. Na deze periode worden de tijdelijke tanden vervangen door de uiteindelijke tanden, vaak gemaakt van een ander materiaal (zoals zirkonium) en die goed over het genezen tandvlees passen. Zo ontstaat er geen ruimte tussen de tanden en uw tandvlees. Een andere reden waarom we deze tijdelijke tanden benoemen, is omdat we vaak zien dat dit volledig weg wordt gelaten.
3. Het gebruik van geleide chirurgie tijdens de operatie. Zonder in dit bericht in details te treden – dit is de manier om menselijke fouten tijdens de implantatie chirurgie te voorkomen. (details hier)

I had full upper and lower all on six implant treatment at the Sofia Implant Centre in February 2026, followed by permanent zirconium bridges in August. The results are exceptional — my smile looks fantastic and I can eat normally again. My thanks to Dr Rafid Hussain, the head surgeon, for the outstanding surgical work, and to Dr Ogur Inal, who fitted my zirconium bridges with real precision and care. I also want to give special thanks to Kris George my Consultant, who managed to secure me an appointment at the last minute when the Centre was fully booked. All the staff were friendly, supportive, and highly professional throughout my treatment. I couldn’t be happier with the experience or the final result. Highly recommended.
