Before departure

• Please get informed of the applicable travel requirements related to Covid-19 at https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/coronavirus/covid-19-travel-into-the-eu/.
  In Bulgaria the sanitary restrictions are more relaxed in general compared to other EU countries.

• Our staff can help you buy flight tickets and book a hotel before your arrival. Should you prefer to do the booking by yourself, please be informed that hotel to clinic transfers are arranged for hotels situated within reasonable to our clinic and you might need to use a taxi.

Airport and hotel transfers

• When you arrive by plane you will have a booked airport pick-up by our dedicated driver. The driver will wait for you at the dedicated waiting area at the airport. Due to Covid-19 it is currently outside of the main gate.
• The driver will aim to arrive on time and have a note with your name written on it. However, due to traffic complications you might need to wait a while. We ask for your patience should this be the case. You can call us or send us a message at tel./WhatsApp: +359 897 603609.
• In case your stay includes several appointments the driver will arrange with you the next pick-up at the lobby of the chosen hotel as well as your transfer back to the airport.
• Late arrivals/departures – outside of normal office hours and/or during weekends – you can take a taxi from the airport. In this case please keep your receipt and we will reimburse the expenses. Taxi costs are reimbursed for late arrivals only.

At the Clinic

• The medical staff will prepare everything needed for your examination and you will be asked by the assistant to follow him/her to the dental cabinet.
• Please follow the safety and Covid-19 rules described below.

Examination and treatment

• Your first visit will start with an examination performed by a doctor.
• You will likely need to be taken to our X-ray laboratory as the X-ray image is needed to assure your treatment plan is correctly prepared.
• You might need to wait a while until the medical staff is discussing your X-ray results and treatment options and are preparing the precise treatment plan to be offered to you.
• You will have a dedicated meeting with the medical team and get explained the proposed treatment plan, incl. the related risks, phases and costs.
• If you accept the treatment plan you will be asked to sign the needed documentation related to your informed decision and subsequent appointments will be booked for you.
• Prior to departure you will be offered different payment options by the front desk administrator (cash or card). Should you need an invoice, please inform the front desk administrator.
• You might be asked to provide your feedback regarding the different aspects of your experience with Sofia Implant Centre. This is to help monitor the quality of our operations.

Safety & Covid-19

• Prior to leaving the waiting area you are kindly asked to place hygiene covers over your shoes. This is to help us follow the safety and hygiene protocol of the clinic.
• Hand sanitizers are available at our reception desk and vehicle.
• We kindly ask you to wear a protective mask during your visits at the clinic.
• All our staff have green certificates regarding Covid-19
• Our staff can assist you with booking Covid-19 PCR tests before your flight back if needed.

Other

• We would like to kindly ask you to follow all instructions given by the Sofia Implant Centre staff.
• Being on time at the hotel lobby will allow us to follow strictly the schedule of the clinic.
• Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the front desk administrators or your doctor.
