Τον τελευταίο καιρό έχουμε μπει σε πολλές διαδικτυακές διαμάχες με αρκετούς ανθρώπους , οι οποίοι αναφέρουν άλλες κλινικές (τις περισσότερες φορές στην Τουρκία) ως πολύ πιο «φθηνές» (άρα είναι πιο προσιτές) αγνοώντας τους κινδύνους που μπορεί να συνεπάγεται αυτό. Με αυτό το άρθρο θέλω να ξεκαθαρίσω ένα πράγμα – μπορεί να κάνετε μια καλη συμφωνία στη τιμή για τα οδοντικά εμφυτεύματα, θέτωντας έτσι σε κίνδυνο τη μακροπρόθεσμη υγεία σας.
Μην με παρεξηγείτε – όχι όλες οι κλινικές στην Τουρκία/Βουλγαρία/Ουγγαρία/Γερμανία/Ην.Βρετανία/…
Μιλάω για τι κλινικές οι οποίες ακολουθούν λάθος πρωτόκολλα και δεν εφαρμόζουν καθόλου τα σωστά – υπάρχουν «κακοί» παντού: στη Βουλγαρία, στην Τουρκία, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, κλπ.
Και το αντίθετο – υπάρχουν «καλά παιδιά» παντού.
Το κόλπο για να αποφύγεις τον κίνδυνο της απάτης είναι να μάθεις πώς να τα αναγνωρίζεις.
Ο πειρασμός να πεις «ΝΑΙ
Φανταστείτε(!) να διευθύνετε μια νέα οδοντιατρική κλινική με όλες τις επενδύσεις και τα έξοδά της. Σήμερα σε αυτή τη φανταστική ιστορία, για οδοντικά εμφυτεύματα, δέχεστε ένα τηλεφώνημα από έναν πιθανό ασθενή από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, την Ανν.
Η Ανν θέλει μια προσφορά τιμής. Φυσικά θέλετε να φαίνεστε επαγγελματίας και ζητάτε να σας στείλει την ακτινογραφία της (αν και δεν σημαίνει σχεδόν τίποτα στο πρωτόκολλο εμφύτευσης!) και σας στέλνει μια πανοραμική, η οποία αποδεικνύει την κακή κατάσταση των δοντιών της. Τώρα, εδώ είναι η δύσκολη στιγμή για εσάς, το ηθικό σας δίλημμα – θα πάτε για την ειλικρίνεια και το ανθρώπινο ήθος ή θα πάτε για τα μετρητά;!
Αυτό είναι έτσι, συγνώμη πρέπει να το επαναλάβω,γιατί μια ακτινογραφία ΔΕΝ ΣΗΜΑΙΝΕΙ ΤΙΠΟΤΑ για την απόδειξη αρκετού οστού στη γνάθου για εμφύτευση. Αν δεν υπάρχει οστό, σημαίνει ότι δεν θα υπάρχει ούτε εμφύτευμα, ή τουλάχιστον έτσι θα έπρεπε σε έναν ιδανικό κόσμο…
Φυσικά ήδη γνωρίζετε ότι η Aνν έχει ρωτήσει τουλάχιστον άλλες 5 κλινικές και πρέπει να βιαστείς. Ας φανταστούμε ότι πιέζεστε από τα επαγγελματικά σας έξοδα και αποφασίζετε να αγνοήσετε όσα μάθατε στο οδοντιατρικό πανεπιστήμιο. Χρειάζεστε την Ανν και το δυναμικό της 5000+ Ευρώ/GBP. Πρέπει να κερδίσετε την Ανν – της στέλνετε μια απίστευτα χαμηλή προσφορά τιμής ALL-ON-6 και για τις δύο γνάθους, μια προσφορά που σπάνια μπορεί να προσφέρουν οι υπολοιποι. Στο πίσω μέρος του μυαλού σας, ελπίζετε μόνο ότι η Ανν θα συμφωνήσει να βάλει εμφυτεύματα…
Και τώρα έρχεται το ρίσκο για την Ανν! Πέφτει πάνω στην ωραία φωνή σου και συμφωνεί με την προσφορά σου με δωρεάν πτήση, δωρεάν ξενοδοχεία, δωρεάν μεταφορές, δωρεάν φαγητό, δωρεάν ξενάγηση, δωρεάν τα πάντα. Η Άνν έρχεται στην κλινική μαζί με την απόλυτη εμπιστοσύνη στους γιατρούς , οι οποίοι είναι πιστοί στον Ιπποκράτειο όρκο τους. Η Aνν δεν ξέρει τίποτα για τα οδοντιατρικά πρωτόκολλα εμφύτευσης (λάθος της!). Φτάνει και συναντά την ωραιότερη εκδοχή σου, στη συνέχεια ανακαλύπτεις (μέσω μιας τρισδιάστατης σάρωσης CBCT) ότι η Ανν δεν έχει αρκετό σταθερό οστό στη γνάθου (σε περίπου το 50% των περιπτώσεων) – επομένως δεν είναι κατάλληλη για εμφυτεύματα! Ουάου, κακή τύχη… τι θα κάνεις;
– να πω την αλήθεια στην Ανν και να την απογοητεύσω ; Να της πληρώσω τη δωρεάν πτήση, το δωρεάν ξενοδοχείο κλπ, και να ρισκάρω να θυμώσει;
-ή να αποκρύψετε το γεγονός και να προχωρήσετε με τα εμφυτεύματα αναλαμβάνοντας τον αδικαιολόγητο κίνδυνο να τοποθετήσετε τα εμφυτεύματα, το οποίο πιθανότατα να οδηγήσει σε λοιμώξεις και μεγάλες μελλοντικές επιπλοκές;;
Θυμηθείτε, ξέρατε καλά πριν έρθει η Ανν στην κλινική σας ότι μπορεί να μην είναι κατάλληλη για εμφυτεύματα και παρόλα αυτά της στείλατε αυτή την «εξαιρετική» προσφορά ALL-ON-4/6. Ξέρατε πολύ καλα με τι έχετε να κάνετε… και τώρα πρέπει να ολοκληρώσετε αυτό που ξεκινήσατε και αποφασίζετε να τοποθετήσετε αυτά τα εμφυτεύματα. Μετά από λίγες ώρες τοποθετείτε τα εμφυτεύματα στην Ανν και μετά από μια ή δύο μέρες η Aνν βλέπει τα νέα της δόντια. Χαμογελάει στις φωτογραφίες και ελπίζετε ότι οι επιπλοκές και τα προβλήματα δεν θα ξεκινήσουν πολύ σύντομα… Πιστέψτε με ότι δεν θέλετε να είστε τα παπούτσια της Ανν.
Μια πραγματική υπόθεση!
Τώρα ας επιστρέψουμε στην πραγματική ζωή… Για τους σκοπούς αυτού του άρθρου έκανα μια τυχαία προσέγγιση σε μερικές κλινικές που διαφημίζονταν στο Facebook. Ωραίες, παρεμπιπτόντως οι διαφημίσεις… μερικές ήταν επίσης πραγματικά Φθηνές. Τρεις στους τέσσερις είπαν αυτό το αιματηρό «ΝΑΙ»! Να πώς πήγε η συνομιλία μου (δείτε στιγμιότυπο οθόνης παρακάτω):
Παρατηρείτε το «ΝΑΙ»;;!! Μου πρόσφεραν ALL-ON-6 (μια σταθερή οδοντοστοιχία σε 6 εμφυτεύματα) και για τις δύο γνάθους. Χωρίς εγγύησεις ή δυσταγμούς! Ουάου, υπέροχα, ο πατέρας μου επιτέλους θα έχει ξανά δόντια… ή ίσως όχι για πολύ… Εκτός κι αν αυτή η κλινική κάνει κάποια φοβερή ανακάλυψη στην οδοντιατρική…
Σε ένα τηλεφώνημα, η ωραία κυρία από την άλλη πλευρά της γραμμής μου είπε ότι δεν προσφέρουν θήκες ζιρκονίου πάνω από εμφυτεύματα γιατί «δεν πρέπει να γίνουν ποτέ και εάν προσφέρουν άλλες κλινικές εμένα αυτό με εξαπατά». (Τι;!!) Επίσης, η δεύτερη παραμονή μου θα πρέπει να είναι 10 ημέρες, πράγμα που με κάνει να πιστεύω ότι δεν είχαν εσωτερικό εργαστήριο και έπρεπε να βασιστώ σε τρίτο που δεν είναι ποτέ κάτι καλό. Αλλά όλα αυτά είναι δευτερεύοντα. Το σημαντικό είναι ότι αποφάσισαν να κυνηγήσουν τα χρήματα αδιαφορώντας για την υγεία μου.
Είναι αρκετά αστείο αυτή τη φορά η ίδια ακτινογραφία επέστρεψε μια διαφορετική «διάγνωση» ότι τα δόντια πρέπει να αφαιρεθούν και 8 εμφυτεύματα θα τοποθετηθούν αμέσως μετά την εξαγωγή (ουάου!), κάτι που συνήθως δεν ισχύει στο πρωτόκολλο εμφύτευσης. Αυτό αποδεικνύει μόνο αυτό που ανέφερα προηγουμένως – η ακτινογραφία δεν είναι καλή βάση για τον προγραμματισμό εμφύτευσης και οι κλινικές πιθανότατα απλώς χρειάζονται τα χρήματα.
Επιπλέον, πολύ συχνά οι κλινικές τείνουν να μιλούν για την κατασκευή των εμφυτευμάτων παρά για τη μάρκα του ζιρκονίου (το πιο κοινό υλικό στις οδοντικές αποκαταστάσεις). Το φτηνό ζιρκόνιο μπορεί να είναι 10 φορές φθηνότερο παρά ποιοτικό ζιρκόνιο (δείτε περισσότερα σε αυτήν την ανάρτηση).
Μερικές φορές απαιτείται μια ράβδος τιτανίου, η οποία προσθέτει ακόμη περισσότερο την τιμή. Από την άλλη, το ζιρκόνιο, αν και δημοφιλές, δεν είναι πάντα το καλύτερο υλικό για All-on-4/6 γιατί είναι πιο βαρύ και όχι τόσο ευέλικτο όσο για παράδειγμα το G-CAM. Αυτό που εννοώ είναι ότι υπάρχουν πολλά περισσότερα που πρέπει να ληφθούν υπόψη από το “All-on-4”, αλλά πολλές κλινικές προτιμούν να σιωπούν για αυτά. Δυστυχώς, αρκετά συχνά ο τακτικός πελάτης-ασθενής αγνοεί όλα αυτά και γίνεται εύκολο θύμα.
Το επιχειρηματικό γεγονός είναι ότι οι κλινικές που εργάζονται με χαμηλά περιθώρια κέρδους θα έχουν μεγαλύτερη δυσκολία να πουν «ΟΧΙ» (δίνοντας άσχημα νέα) στους ασθενείς. Δεν το κάνουν όλοι αυτό, μην με παρεξηγήσετε, απλώς η πιθανότητα «ΝΑΙ» είναι μεγαλύτερη! Τέτοιες κλινικές πιέζονται από τα χαμηλότερα έσοδα και κάθε ασθενής είναι σημαντικός για τη διατήρηση μιας σταθερής ροής εσόδων. Η ιατρική επιχείρηση απαιτεί μεγάλες επενδύσεις, ακριβό εργατικό δυναμικό, μεγάλους προϋπολογισμούς μάρκετινγκ και ευέλικτες ομάδες πωλήσεων. Η εύρεση μιας ισορροπίας μεταξύ όλων αυτών είναι το κλειδί για να επιβιώσετε στην επιχείρηση.
Μην έχετε καμία αμφιβολία ότι μια προσεκτική ανάλυση μιας αξονικής τομογραφία κωνικής δέσμης είναι η μία και μοναδική απαιτούμενη εξέταση για να γνωρίζετε αν είναι εφικτή η τοποθέτηση του εμφυτεύματός σας. Μια τρισδιάστατη σάρωση είναι πολύ αντικειμενική – είτε έχετε αρκετό οστό είτε όχι. Φυσικά σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις μπορεί να γίνει οστική μεταμόσχευση, αλλά αυτό σπάνια συνοδεύεται από εγγυήσεις. Στην περίπτωσή μας, στο Sofia Implant Center θα ακούσετε τον σύμβουλό μας να λέει ότι θα χρειαστούμε μια αξονική τομογραφία κωνικής δέσμης προτού επιβεβαιώσουμε την περίπτωσή σας. Είμαστε πάντα στην αναζήτηση μιας καλής ισορροπίας μεταξύ της τιμής και αυτού που προσφέρουμε. Δεν είμαστε ούτε οι φθηνότεροι, ούτε το επιθυμούμε, ούτε πρέπει να είμαστε. Η τιμή για εμάς είναι μια ανταλλαγή των προσπαθειών μας να προσφέρουμε καλή αξία. Το μήνυμά μας προς τον ασθενή είναι πάντα ένα – το μακροπρόθεσμο όφελος για την υγεία σας πρωταγωνιστεί σε όλες τις αποφάσεις και τις ενέργειές μας. Μερικές φορές αυτό δημιουργεί τριβές – το να δίνεις άσχημα νέα δεν είναι ποτέ εύκολο. Θα συνεχίσουμε να λέμε «ΟΧΙ» σε περιπτώσεις χωρίς ιατρική αιτιολόγηση. Η υπόσχεσή μας είναι ότι ποτέ, ποτέ, ΠΟΤΕ!, δεν θα τοποθετήσουμε εμφύτευμα σε περίπτωση έλλειψης αρκετού οστού. Για εμάς αυτός είναι ο σωστός δρόμος.
Αυτό που μένει
Το σημαντικό πράγμα που πρέπει να θυμάστε είναι ότι καμία κλινική/γιατρός δεν μπορεί να σας πει ειλικρινά ότι μπορούν να τοποθετήσουν εμφυτεύματα μέχρι να αναλύσουν την τρισδιάστατη CBCT σάρωση. Εάν το κάνουν – μείνετε μακριά ανεξάρτητα από το πόσο φθηνή είναι η προσφορά τους. Το να πάτε απλά για «φτηνά» πιθανότατα θα σας κοστίσει πολύ περισσότερο στο μέλλον, όχι μόνο από την άποψη των κρύων μετρητών αλλά και σε χρόνο και ταλαιπωρία. Η μη τήρηση του σωστού πρωτοκόλλου εμφύτευσης είναι ο μεγαλύτερος κίνδυνος που αναλαμβάνετε και πρέπει να ξέρετε πώς να τον αναγνωρίσετε. Το “φθηνό” αυξάνει μόνο τους κινδύνους.

I had full upper and lower all on six implant treatment at the Sofia Implant Centre in February 2026, followed by permanent zirconium bridges in August. The results are exceptional — my smile looks fantastic and I can eat normally again. My thanks to Dr Rafid Hussain, the head surgeon, for the outstanding surgical work, and to Dr Ogur Inal, who fitted my zirconium bridges with real precision and care. I also want to give special thanks to Kris George my Consultant, who managed to secure me an appointment at the last minute when the Centre was fully booked. I recently visited Sofia Implant Centre for a check-up of my All-on-4 implants, which I had completed there 3 years ago, and my experience continues to reward me for choosing their excellent services. My consultant this time, Diyan Shkodrov, was extremely helpful with booking the hotel and arranging my transfer, along with the sweetest clinic guide at the airport, whose name I unfortunately forgot. My meeting during the check-up with dental specialist Dr Kliment Bekiarov, who was also responsible for creating my final smile, was as always very warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. He was more than willing to answer all my questions, and the check-up showed that everything was flawless. Sofia Implant Centre is one of the most modern and top-quality dental clinics, adhering to the highest European standards with excellent equipment, impeccable cleanliness, and outstanding organised patient care. Everyone on staff—from the drivers and receptionists to the nurses, consultants, and doctors—is dedicated and highly specialised in their role. The system works seamlessly, inspiring trust, organisation, and professionalism. I greatly appreciate the doctors' honesty and ethics, which clearly outweigh short-term profit, as well as their detailed transparency. This was evident in the meeting following the panoramic X-ray to determine the treatment plan. My case was particularly challenging for All-on-4 in the upper jaw due to my very thin bone structure, which carried the risk that the implants might not integrate after the multiple extractions required. The decision was ultimately mine on whether to proceed. My consultant at the time, Lina—a Greek woman raised in Bulgaria—was always willing to explain, advise, and support me on a personal level throughout our communication, from start to finish. So, I decided to take the leap, go ahead with the extractions (which had to be done eventually anyway), and move forward with the implants. The surgery was a success, and everything went perfectly thanks to the surgeon and the nurse assistant. It was a long and thorough procedure that required delicate handling, expertise, and, of course, patience from all of us. My bone was thin but dense and strong. I mention this because while an X-ray may show available bone, it cannot always reveal its actual quality or density. The follow-up process was very satisfying, both for my temporary teeth and especially for the final set, where we used Digital Smile Design simulations. Dr Kliment Bekiarov carefully listened to and discussed all my preferences regarding the shape, size, and colour of my teeth. As a result, I now have a wonderful, natural-looking smile that feels completely my own. They are fully functional, and the total cost was significantly lower than it would have been in Greece. I wholeheartedly recommend Sofia Implant Centre to my friends in Greece and abroad whenever a similar need arises. Thank you to everyone at Sofia Implant Centre. May you all be well and blessed!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Sofia Implant Centre for all their incredible support and hard work during my first-ever visit and my first-ever dental implant. I am completely blown away!!! I found this clinic after doing a lot of research, and I'm so glad I chose Sofia Implant Centre instead of going to Turkey. Everything is covered under EU regulations and quality standards, the doctors and surgeons are highly experienced, and the service this clinic provides is truly top class. I was seen by different specialists to ensure I receive the best possible treatment for my individual case. Every doctor was absolutely amazing—professional, calm, gentle, highly experienced, and incredibly reassuring. They were also fantastic at easing my pre-surgery worries, and it was a pleasure to be around them during my visits. I had my implant done and didn't even need a single painkiller afterwards. I also had no bruising at all—they really know what they're doing! They give advice based on what's genuinely best for you and focus on saving your natural tooth whenever possible, rather than recommending treatments that would simply make them more money. The clinic is fabulous and you're well cared for throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend Sofia Implant Centre. They arrange airport pick up, provide details of nearby hotel accommodation and free clinic driver to collect you from your hotel to the clinic and back for all appointments. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because despite the colour of my implants being lightened, I'm still not happy with the colour and could do nothing about it as it was my final fitting.

From early stages inquiry Kris talked me through the process booked my flights and Sofia implant centre did the rest got to choose my hotel which this you pay yourself but get a discount via the clinic. All the transfers to and from the clinic was taken care of. All the staff were professional and welcoming went over my plan after 3d cray everything was explained and the costs were broken down. All medication was provided pain, antibiotics and vitamin c all to help with the healing process. At the end of a week of treatment I was fitted with my temporary teeth after agreeing color and size for 6 months then back for my permanent. Thank you to all the team from the drivers to the surgeons and everyone else like receptionists and nurses. The centre is kept immaculately clean and got shown round the centre even the lab in house that make the teeth. Definitely recommended it.

I’m in awe of the flawless care received at this clinic. . Dr. Gronov, the surgeon whose name I did not catch🙈, plus the entire team were efficient, transparent, respectful and kind. The level of care provided was outstanding and I felt in good hand’s with these fellas. I may have finally found the perfect care after my dentist of 20 years recently let me down

The doctors and the whole team of Sofia Dental gave me an amazing experience during my stay there. They made me feel heard, respected and cared. The team is highly professional and flexible, they made my whole stay and treatment stressless and smooth. I liked the eye for detail that the staff has and the way they manage to tackle my treatment and fulfill my idea of healthy glamorous smile. I highly recommend the clinic. my journey at Sofia implant started in 2024 , I had a negligent dentist in the UK and ended up with severe gum disease . I contacted various dentists abroad Sofia implant center was the only one who was interested in saving as many of my own teeth as possible .I spoke to Kris who co ordinated everything from start to Finnish including booking hotels arranging for me to be picked up from the airport and he was always there if I needed anything .Dr Hussain extracted the bad teeth also he is a maxillofacial surgeon who repaired a scar on my lip for which I am eternally grateful for . I decided to have the guided implants ,Dr Patchev put them in for me , this wasn't pain free but was bearable and everything was explained to me .For the next part I was under Dr Jana who fitted the teeth onto the implants all on 5 top 4 implants on bottom and 6 crowns .All was finished in Dec 25 I am extremely happy with the outcome so a massive big thanks to everyone who treated me the front desk staff and the drivers bobby and angel .Since returning to the UK I have visited their Stockport branch for a little correction , to anyone who is considering implants ,Sophia implant center is second to none. An extra thank you to Kris who went above and beyond . Sofia implant center is a very professional state of the art center ,I would highly recommend them thank you again for my new smile 😁

I had all on 4 on the top,and a full set of crowns on the bottom. This is a super modern,well equipped and staffed dental hospital,where every part of your treatment is done by a specialist. The whole experience is perfect,from the booking to the organisation by the receptionists,and consultants,to the actual treatment itself. Yes I would absolutely recommend Sofia implant centre.

2 Years ago I visit Sofia Implant for first time for major dental work .From my first contact with Kriss over the phone and Mariela at the reception for all arrangments, the special care from dr.R.Taskova and specialy dr.K.Bekiarov -I had great service and care .Overall I found price very reasonable and good quality for work and materials. I visit for check in -all went great at no cost to me.
